Cedar City Sassy Someteenth

My BFF, Beccers, totes spent WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too much money on me for my birthday.  She paid my entry fee in the expensive Cedar City half marathon.  Then she hoped and prayed that I'd drive down there (and pay for all the gas) in my cute, economic, bubble-gum car . . . and I did, because it's like I could read her mind because we are totes soul-mates and bosom buddies.

The best part of the trip was spending eight hours in the car together.  We love to fill up at Fillmore!!!  Beccers got a little crazy and broke the law, but I'm always ready in my getaway car!

I loved running down the canyon.  It was so easy.  Beccers met me at mile 11, because the poor dear has been battling MAJOR injuries all summer--but she took a chance on making it even worse because that's the kind of friend she is.  And I'm so glad she was there to talk to me and encourage me and make me run even faster for the last two miles!  They were the toughest miles of the run!  She's so aMaZiNG!

I totes beat my PR, like I do every time!  Go me!  1:54 half marathon!!!!

Riverton Flibbertigibbet

That's me!

I am so in love with my own very own hometown, yo.  I ran in the Riverton Half Marathon last week and took eighth in my age group!  Go me!  There were, like, over a thousand runners and I was in the top 15 percent of all the finishing times.  Go me!  Again!

My friend Beccers wrote this limerick in honor of this photo:

Gather 'round, and I'll tell you a story
Of my very fast besty named Cori.
Since running's her passion,
She's faster than fashion
Ginormous watch + compression socks = GLORY.

My kids love EACH OTHER!

Jared is basically a child prodigy.  He drew this life-like, to-scale portrait of what he does for his sister every Sunday in church.
BACK TICKLING!

You can see the joy on Madi's face!

So glad me and Jeffy have set a good example of service for our talented kids!
